Blogging
This is a new page which gives you the chance to tell everyone about your day. This is a new phenomenon that has griped the internet and its known as Blogging.

A "Blog" is a diary entry which everyone can read. It is like a report, on a Pony Club event.

I you are interested in writing your own, then send me an e-mail info@tipphuntponyclub.com with your details, to receive "The Blogging Guidelines" for this site.

6th December 2003

Well the day started early with turn out preparations as it is a very important factor when attending Pony Club Activities (us seniors have to lead by good example!)

Once we arrived at Wallslough, we declared our names, found out our drawn order and walked our course which was designed by Tony Ennis. Horses jumped first with ponies jumping 2nd. The idea of this morning speed class was not only two allow the horses and ponies a look at the arena but it was to decide the running order for the main class. Joan Widger on Kilmoylan Warrior was first to go for the Tipps and produced a footperfect clear round, followed by me on Drummanor Mill, I jumped in a clear round leaving me in 5th place out of the 27 compeditors.

Then in the afternoon class of 1.20m, both Joan and I were granted a good draw as a result of our clear rounds in the morning's speed class. After walking the second round, riders knew a clear round was not going to b easily achieved due to Mr. Ennis' technical track. Joan was unlucky to have four faults on the course with me having an also unlucky four in the middle of the line of three on the longside of the arena.

But as things go, there can only be one winner, the name , but I have to say that I dont think anyone could have been more delighted to win. All in all, it was an enjoyful day and I recommended that Pony Club Members eligible and confident with jumping a course of 1.20m with eitherĀ a 148cm pony or a horse should at least attempt the qualifiers as it is a very good experience.
