The History - The First Year

The Tipperary Hunt Branch of the Pony Club was formed in the Autumn of 1959. The Master of the Tipperary Hunt Captain Evan Williams gave permission for the use of the name. Mrs. Masters agreed to act as the first District Commissonor.

Rallies were held at Killusty, Seskin, Woodroofe, Ballingarane and Annsfort. By the end of the first year the club had a membership of 107. Over the years the Club has got bigger and our membership has now increased to 170.
